[rabbitmq-discuss] Use of RabbitMQ with a C client?

Hi,

I'm investigating the use of AMQP for a new project. We need to be  
able to use AMQP from languages that doesn't yet have an AMQP  
binding. Since most languages have a usable C binding I'm interested  
in how to use a C binding with RabbitMQ. Would it be possible to use  
the OpenAMQ C client to connect to RabbitMQ? Has anybody actually  
tried this?
