I rechecked with amqp_version() = v0.4.1 & Openssl version = 1.0.1. The amqp_destroy_connection() works fine and there is no memory leak as well.

Earlier I was checking against amqp_version() = v0.3.0 & Openssl version = 1.0.1. which was producing error while doing amqp_destroy_connection() and memory leaks as well.<br>
