Suppose I want to publish a message to all subscribers, but one of the subscribers starts listening too late and I want it to be caught up with the others. Is there a way to do that?<br>

In theory yes but it will likely be unnecessarily painful.<br>

Sounds like you want Redis, ZooKeeper or etcd.<br>
