Mirroring has been around a while but on a failure a node when rejoining the cluster comes on as a slave, assumes its message state is invalid and drops all persistent messages. based configuration of mirrored queues didn't come out until version 3.0. I<br>
believe before then the mirroring policy had to be declared when the queue<br>
was created. Eager synchronization (sync_queue) wasn't released until<br>
version 3.1.0.<br>
