hi,simon, <br>i use rabbitmq to publish market quotations to our consumers.<br>so i need the newest quotations but abandon the old ones.<br>in my sititution, when&nbsp; the service publishing msg&nbsp; set immediate true,and <span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:rgb(51,51,51);font-family:Helvetica,arial,freesans,clean,sans-serif;font-size:13px;font-style:normal;font-variant:normal;font-weight:normal;letter-spacing:normal;line-height:20px;text-align:-webkit-auto;text-indent:0px;text-transform:none;white-space:normal;word-spacing:0px;background-color:rgb(251,251,251)">&nbsp; setting consumer&nbsp; no_ack to false, and leave the message pre-fetch at 1<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></span>,the consumer will get the newest market quotation and do something.but when i configure this ,the rabbitmq itself&#39;s memory pilling up until i shutdown the publisher.<br>

It&#39;s also perhaps worth pointing out to the OP that support for the immediate flag will be going away in 3.0.<br>
