from the ubuntu repositories.  I suppose when it installed it started the<br>daemon automatically.  I tried to run the command `sudo rabbitmq-server<br>start` from the terminal and was greeted with:<br><br><font class="Apple-style-span" face="&#39;courier new&#39;, monospace">[ andrew@andrew-scala:~ ]$ sudo rabbitmq-server stop<br>

was running already, though I feel like this is something that should be<br>handled more appropriately, like letting the user know in a friendly way<br>something along the lines of &quot;rabbitmq-server is already running!&quot; rather<br>
