Just for example the Qpid package have a oversize in message larger than RabbitMQ until you can send 32k messages per second using 100mbps you can do only 16k messages per second with Qpid with the same 100mbps. (Messages with 213bytes).</div>

</div>Indeed, AMQP does specify the binary wire-level protocol. To find out<br>
the exact overheads, I suggest you either read that and do the<br>
calculations yourself, or fire up wireshark, send a few such messages,<br>
and from the capture, you'll be able to see exactly how much data is<br>
being transferred per message.<br>
