It is intended to be, yes. At the 0-9-1 protocol version it definitely<BR>
works with Qpid and OpenAMQ (I've tried it), though the 0-8 version<BR>
doesn't interoperate so smoothly because of differing interpretations of<BR>
the spec. I'd therefore recommend calling the extension "AMQP" instead<BR>
of "rabbitmq".<BR>
