.Net 2.0 and HTTPS as a client

Hello list!

We're working on implementing a system where the front end is a .Net client that communicates with a java back end through a message broker. RabbitMQ was on our short list because it has advertised the ability for .Net access and HTTPS transports.

Is anyone doing this? Are there any gotchas?

We need https because the app will be run on client systems where there are typically firewalls and proxy servers in the way.

Thanks in advance,
