[rabbitmq-discuss] RabbtMQ heart beat

We have a load balancer in front of our RabbitMQ cluster. Currently it is
operating a simple round robin algorithm. It will consider a RabbitMQ node
of line if the actually Windows Server is offline.

What is the RabbitMQ specific test to see if the node is up and running? Is
there a specific port the load balancer should ping?
