[rabbitmq-discuss] Looking for tips on upgrading from RMQ 2.x to 3.x

I'm looking for tips or documentation on code changes necessary to upgrade from 2.x to 3.x, for producers or consumers.

Assume that the 3.x cluster is already up and running, and the code can point to it.

Also, that data doesn't need to be copied across. Should there be any problem with creating connections to an older 2.x cluster as well as 3.x, in the same application?

Did the API change between versions? As seen in the examples at http://www.rabbitmq.com/api-guide.html
