[rabbitmq-discuss] {bad_header, <<"GET /api">>} when trying to run plugin for get rabbitmq queue metrics

Hi there.

I'm trying to run this plugin:
https://github.com/sensu/sensu-community-plugins/blob/master/plugins/rabbitmq/rabbitmq-queue-metrics.rb

Getting this error: https://gist.github.com/Mariano-gon/8942731

I do have the rabbitmq mgmt plugin (as seen in other thread) and I can
connect to rabbitmq server:port with these same credentials.

Any ideas why could this be falling?
