[rabbitmq-discuss] ANN: rabbitpy 0.17.0

rabbitpy 0.17.0 is now available for download from pypi. It is considered the latest and greatest stable release and all users are urged to upgrade.

This release is primarily a bug fix release:

- Refactor cross-thread communication for RabbitMQ to client RPC requests
- Fix cross-thread exceptions being raised
- Fix shutdown behavior when an exception is thrown in the IO thread
- Balance the read/write ratio on the socket fixing acknowledgement write buffering issues
- Ensure compatibility with Python 3.4
- Documentation update to break out version history to a stand-alone document
