Subject: [rabbitmq-discuss] losing messages

Hi rabbitmq gurus

     I am a newbee ... sorry.

I have several producers (python-amqplib) sending a total of half a million messages per day

     to my rabbitmq-server 3.1.15

     They all use topic.

I have one consumer that sits there receiving a particular topic (275000 messages/daily)

The connections for both the producers and the consumers are sustained... (connections are opened and are left

that way unless someone restarts one of them)

Every runs smoothly for a while...

than for no apparent reason, my consumer is missing some messages from one producer...

The producer still sends messages... I simply restart the producer and the problem is resolved...

     Before restarting

netstat -an tells me that the connections are established

     an so does

     rabbitmqctl list_connections

Any Idea of the source of my problem ?
