[rabbitmq-discuss] Unable to delete queues, purge messages etc. through admin

Somehow you are running RabbitMQ server with a different, incompatible 
version of the RabbitMQ Erlang client loaded. We've seen this in two 
scenarios:

1) (Partially) self-compiled plugins mixed with a packaged server
2) SuSE linux (with the broken package "erlang-rabbitmq-client"
    installed)

Do either of those two sound like possibilities?
