Logstash RabbitMQ plugin currently uses Bunny 0.8 which does not support
payload
framing and publishing of messages greater than 128K.

An updated version of the plugin will use Bunny 0.9 on CRuby and HotBunnies
on JRuby,
both implement payload framing:
