[rabbitmq-discuss] durable message server restart

Hello

I understand I need to create a durable queue so I can hold messages for
consumers that connect in the future to retrieve those messages.

Does this mean I need to create a durable exchange too?  Also when I publish
messages do I need to do anything special so that it can survive a server
restart.  I am assuming here that since the queue is durable, the already
published messages should survive a server restart.  I would appreciate you
clarification. Thank you.
