Greetings. I have searched, found and read many posts on this same similar
subject but am not able to get going.
Background - installing the rabbitmq as a requirement for standalone chef
server.
All other components/requirements seem to have installed ok.
When using any argument to the rabbitmqctl command, I get the same message:
Status of node rabbit at s2cchef ...
Error: unable to connect to node rabbit at s2cchef: nodedown
diagnostics:
- nodes and their ports on s2cchef: [{rabbitmqctl22520,12034}]
- current node: rabbitmqctl22520 at s2cchef
- current node home dir: /var/lib/rabbitmq
- current node cookie hash: 7HQZbBfzsJc7oLvzbEsqwA==
Read up on the rabbitmq and tried reset as well as force_reset to ensure at
defaults. Still not able to get running.
Adding the s2cchef in /etc/hosts on the 127.0.0.1 also does not work.
Validate that erlang is running as well.
Can someone please provide some assistance?
Thanks in advance.
