[rabbitmq-discuss] How does Messages will be persisted in RabbitMQ?

I have gone through the link, here backing stores are for writing the
messages into disk. But, I couldn't understand the use of database which
mentioned in the article.  Can you please explain me how can I use database
here. Thank you!!!
