[rabbitmq-discuss] Reason not to use QueueingConsumer?

I'm just starting to use RabbitMQ and I was wondering if there is a
compelling reason not to use QueueingConsumer. It seems to serve my purpose
well but I'm still in the testing phase. I just want to make sure I'm not
missing something because the javadoc says it is deprecated, although it
doesn't have the standard deprecated annotation.

The only problem I can see is that memory could fill up if my consumer is
not keeping up with the producer.

Thanks for any help you can give me!
