[rabbitmq-discuss] rabbitma and fqdn

hi!

I'm trying to make rabbitmq to work with fqdn on amazon ec2

so I'd change "sname" for "name" in rabbitmq scripts to make the rabbit
work with fqdn (in scripts rabbitmq-server and rabbitmqctl)

than I'm setting up:

 export HOSTNAME="cachequeuesrv2.staging.ninternal.com"


starting rabbitmq and it fails sayin':

ERROR: epmd error for host "cachequeuesrv2": nxdomain (non-existing domain)

so why it says  ""cachequeuesrv2": nxdomain (non-existing domain)",
while HOSTNAME="cachequeuesrv2.staging.ninternal.com" ?
