I did the same thing to myself -- as a windows admin, sc delete is a everyday 
tool.

I did this: (sc delete rabbitmq) and now I cannot get RabbitMQ service to 
install again.  The install batch reports "Service is already installed; just 
updating configuration / plugins", but then no service is present.

Removed the %RABBITMQ_BASE%\db folder, removed the %APPDATA%\rabbitmq folder, 
then Uninstall, reboot, reinstall both RabbitMQ and the Erlang package no 
help -- still cannot install the service.

I just removed by hand what little registry stuff that Erlang has after a 
uninstall... I didn't look promising, but we'll see what happens.
