We might introduce some additional disc space warning threshold in a 
future release. The trouble is if you *just* warn then people who don't 
look at mgmt / logs (which believe me, is a lot of people!) will get the 
same nasty surprise on running out of disc space as they did on releases 
prior to 2.8.2; they don't get any benefit from the monitoring at all. 
So this is actually worse for them.

Hence the desire for a compromise setting.
