[rabbitmq-discuss] unable to cluster rabbitmq on ec2

ok i have not made any changes to rabbitctl, rabbitmq-server & rabbitmq-env.
I am now able to telnet <hostname> 4369 between all 3 nodes.

below is the error when i am trying to check the status of node2 from node1

root at rabbit1:~# rabbitmqctl -n rabbit at rabbit2 status
Status of node rabbit at rabbit2 ...
Error: unable to connect to node rabbit at rabbit2: nodedown
