Hi,

We will try replicating this on rabbit 2.8.4.

One more question, do we have any command to check if Node-A is fully started? (rabbitmqctl status?)

Please upgrade and try to reproduce with the latest rabbit (2.8.4) since verifying bugs for old versions is very annoying for us.
