[rabbitmq-discuss] RabbitMQ subscriber loses connection across firewalls after long idle

How do you use AMQP heartbeats? (I tried setting the heartbeat option already
in the Java client and this had no effect)

I'm going to try and fix my firewall but I was also using Rackspace for
another server and had the same problem here. Not sure how I can fix that as
I have no control over their firewall.
