[rabbitmq-discuss] Federation plug-in and HA queues

Looking through the source of the federation plug-in it would seem that is
does not make use of HA queues, which makes it vulnerable to message loss
in the case of loosing the node hosting the federation queue on the
downstream broker.

Is my reading correct?

Are there any plans to optionally being able to configure the federation
plug-in to use HA queues?
