[rabbitmq-discuss] Using 2.6 .NET API with 2.5 server

It should be fine (I don't see any new broker features added in 2.6
that required client-side changes).

This is generally true, btw. As long as you don't want the latest
extensions, you can mix and match client and server versions (after
2.0).
