Thanks for your reply everyone.

I also use HermesJMS, I agree it is more of a developer tool and does not
really have the operational focus I would like.  Also it would need a fancy
new web gui. ;-)  

 The web gui is the part i was hoping to get away with no writing.   
Ideally I would like to find a product that displays "events" which is
written in java and allows for custom plugins to be added for user defined
actions.

That product from codestreet looks interesting, I also found it in my
googling.

Colin, your dashboards written in GWT sound very interesting, is there any
chance you could post a screenshot or two.
