[rabbitmq-discuss] AMPQ PHP Extensions on Ubuntu 10.04

We are working on rewriting the PHP PECL extension for 0-9-1 support. We are
taking the opportunity to rework the API a little to be more user friendly.

As of right now, I would recommend writing an OO wrapper for all of your
AMQP interactions and use Alvaro's suggestion, and when the PHP PECL
extension is ready, you will be able to easily switch over if you so desire.
