No it doesn't. It will stop, and much meaningful information is in the
logs right at the bottom. Any chance you can send us the complete logs?
(Maybe to info at rabbitmq.com rather than spamming the list, if the logs
are big?).

Also, which version of Rabbit are you running, and which version of
Erlang are you using?
