I've taken a look at these, but I'm afraid they don't shed too much more
light on the problem.
The sasl log has one entry for 11-Jun-2010::21:23:48 and then the rest
are when Rabbit starts up at 13-Jun-2010::12:01:20.
The non-sasl log suggests connections are being closed from
13-Jun-2010::11:58:37, and Rabbit restarts at 13-Jun-2010::12:01:20.
Unfortunately, there are no "out of memory" errors or anything like
that, but that's not necessarily disproving our guess that it's just run
out of memory - sometimes Erlang can crash so hard that it doesn't get a
chance to output any error message. The absence of any other error
messages is good though - it suggests that it's not a bug in Rabbit
itself, so I would still bet my money on the memory exhaustion.
How are you getting on with 1.8.0 and a 64-bit Erlang?
Matthew
