As I say, I haven't tried it yet. If the gcc compiler outputs debug symbols that the MS debugger understands, which I guess would count as the standard format and as far as I know is COFF, it would be possible. If not, it wouldn't. I remember some years ago that it was troublesome stepping into dlls that had been built with say a Borland or Watcom compiler in the MS debugger, but they may have now converged.
