I don't recall seeing this issue reported before. But 1.7.0 is fairly
old, and we've done quite a bit of work on the macports packaging since
then. Our macports-packaged 1.8.1 in particular seems to work well,
judging from the lack of reported issues. Could you try upgrading by
following the instructions at <http://www.rabbitmq.com/macports.html>?
I'm not sure whether doing that will fix your problem, but if it
doesn't, it will much easier for us to find the cause.
