[rabbitmq-discuss] Pid Files for Monit Tracking?

Does anyone know how to get Rabbit to put its pid files somewhere so i  
can track it with monit?  Even better, a monit example?  FYI I am  
using the FreeBSD port of rabbit, net/rabbitmq, which is at version  
1.4.0.
