We have never run into this issue with RabbitMQ. Rabbit doesn't do many 
mnesia writes during normal operation. You'd have to be 
creating/deleting lots of exchanges/queues/bindings for that to happen.

John, are you perhaps doing that? If you can send us the code to 
reproduce the problem that would be great. Also, what exact version of 
R12B are you running?
